While at Clark Airbase the senators attended a Balikatan 16 brief and toured several military aircraft. This year marks the 32nd iteration of Balikatan where U.S. service members work “shoulder-to-shoulder” with members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines to increase combined readiness to crises and conflict across the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
