Sergeant Major Sean Greenleaf

Sergeant Major Sean Greenleaf is a native of Oceanside, California. He entered the Marine Corps in November 1992 and has served as a Machine Gunner, Infantry Unit Leader, First Sergeant and Sergeant Major.

Sergeant Major Greenleaf proudly served in a variety of billets in the Fleet Marine Force as a member of 3D Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Battalion, 3D Marines, Combat Logistic Regiment 17, Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 165 and Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 352.

Sergeant Major Greenleaf served as part of training Commands as a Primary Marksmanship Instructor Weapons Field Training Battalion, Parris Island, Weapons Platoon Sergeant at The Basic School, Advisor/Trainer at Coalition Military Advise Assist Team in Iraq, and Drill Instructor 3D Recruit Training Battalion, Parris Island, South Carolina.

Sergeant Major Greenleaf has participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Inherent Resolve.

Sergeant Major Greenleaf is currently assigned as the Headquarter and Service Battalion Sergeant Major at United States Marine Corps Forces, Pacific.

Sergeant Major Greenleaf’s personal awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal.
