U.S. Navy Adm. Scott H. Swift, U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. John A. Toolan and distinguished guests inspect the Marine Rotational Force – Darwin facilities Oct. 4 at Robertson Barracks, Palmerston, Australia. The Marines and sailors spoke of new changes coming to the next rotation of Marines in Australia, their capabilities as a Marine Air-Ground Task Force and the overall mission of MRF-D. This deployment demonstrates how the MAGTF is equipped and organized to carry out national objectives in cooperation with our international partners. Swift is the current commander of U.S. Pacific Fleet and Toolan is the commanding general of U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific.
