U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Heriberto Rayescandelario, a data systems administrator with 5th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, sets up a radio during a communications field exercise, Rapid Tanto at Ie Shima, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 5, 2024. The radio allowed transmission of data to higher headquarters. Using off-the-shelf radars and low-signature equipment, 5th ANGLICO and 3rd Intelligence Battalion demonstrated proficiency in planning, coordination, and execution of dynamic targeting capable of supporting maritime campaigns in an increasingly contested Indo-Pacific. Rayescandelario is a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. William Wallace)
