YONA, Guam (July 24, 2016) – Juan Guzman, a survivor of the Manenggon concentration camp, plants the Manenggon survivors flag during the Manenggon Memorial Foundation Memorial. Fellow U.S. Service members and the community of Guam gathered at Manenggon to honor the survivors and those that passed away during occupation in World War II. Manenggon was the site of a concentration camp during occupation. The citizens of Guam were forcefully marched down to Manenggon and many Chamorros did not make the journey.
