Lance Cpl. Elizabeth Diamond, left, presents the Colors to Sgt. Maj. Paul McKenna at the top of Mt. Suribachi on Iwo To, Japan. Roughly 20 Marines and Sailors hiked four miles to the summit of Mt. Suribachi to experience the terrain and gain an understanding of what the Marines and Sailors who came before went through during the Battle of Iwo Jima in World War II. Diamond is a barracks manager at the Training and Education Command, and McKenna is the U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific sergeant major. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Matthew J. Bragg)
