Lt. Gen. Lawrence D. Nicholson, III Marine Expeditionary Force Commanding General, presents a III MEF challenge coin to Cpl. Brett J. Nelson, a bulk fuel specialist with Marine Wing Support Squadron 172, at Mount Bundey Airfield, Northern Territory, Australia, on May 11, 2016. Nelson, from Springfield, Ohio, earned the coin for his outstanding conduct while deployed. Nicholson visited Marines with the Marine Rotational Force – Darwin’s Aviation Combat Element at a forward arming and refueling point.
