Rear Adm. Babette "Bette" Bolivar, commander of Joint Regions Marianas, and Maj. Gen. Charles L. Hudson, commander of Marine Corps Installations, Pacific salute a wreath presented at the 81st Army Infantry Regiment Memorial, Sept. 15, during a tour of the memorial sites on Peleliu. This year marks the 70th Anniversary of the landing on Peleliu, which turned into the 'bitterest battle for the Marines' during their World War II campaign in the Pacific against the nation of Japan.
