U.S. Navy Hospitalman 3rd Class Micheal Bockover is sprayed with military grade pepper spray while participating in a non-lethal weapons training demonstration during Exercise Cobra Gold 2014 at Samaesan Royal Thai Marine Base, Rayong, Kingdom of Thailand. Cobra Gold, in its 33rd iteration, demonstrates the U.S. and the Kingdom of Thailand's commitment to our long-standing alliance and regional partnership, prosperity and security in the Asia-Pacific region. The demonstration was held by the U.S. Marines of 3rd Platoon, Company A, 3d Law Enforcement Battalion, 3d Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force for the Royal Thai Marines of 1st infantry Battalion.
