Col. Annita M. Best, reserve public affairs director for U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific, participates in a blood drive hosted by the Armed Services Blood Program in the Pollock Theater here Aug. 9. ASBP has reached 50 percent of its goal to collect 500 pints of blood in August 2012. Although the program is located at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, they frequently visit military installations throughout Oahu to make donating more convenient for service members.
