ZAMBOANGA CITY, MINDANAO, Republic of the Philippines - Marine Cpl. David Bombard, Army Sgt. Maj. Robert Saiz, Army Sgt. Michael Light and Petty Officer 1st Class Jeffrey Simpson of the Joint Special Operations Task Force - Philippines visited the bedside of three-year-old Frail Silo before and after donating their own blood that saved her life March 28 at the Zamboanga City Medical Center on the Southern Island of Mindanao. The girl is suffering and would have died from typhoid fever and anemia if a compatible blood type wasn?t found. JSOTF-P is deployed support of Operation Enduring Freedom ? Philippines.
