We go together: U.S. Marine Corps Forces Korea celebrates our storied history on the Korean peninsula, forging an unbreakable bond between the two countries for over 70 years, on U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys, South Korea, Dec. 14, 2023. The Republic of Korea/U.S. Marine Corps alliance has been built through exercises such as the Korean Marine Exchange Program, Ulchi Freedom Shield, Ssang Yong, and countless other exercises throughout the years, promising an unyielding commitment to our allies. U.S. Marines with Alpha Company, Battalion Landing Team, 1st Battalion, 7th Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, conduct Fast Rope Masters Sustainment Training from MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft and UH-1Y Venom helicopters at Landing Zones Starling and Peacock, Okinawa, Japan, May 13–14, 2025.
