U.S. Marines with III Marine Expeditionary Force participate in rehearsals and live fire demonstrations during the Marine Corps Attack Drone Competition, Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan, from Dec. 8-11, 2025. From December 4-17, 2025, personnel from the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) participated in the Basic Military Mountaineering Course in Hawaii provided by the Army Mountain Warfare School, Vermont National Guard. The Basic Military Mountaineering Course equipped the students with mobility and safety skills for military mountaineering operations, supporting DPAA's investigation and recovery missions in mountainous terrain.

U.S. Marines assigned to Task Force Ashland, I Marine Expeditionary Force, conduct live fire and maneuver training on range 800 at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Dec. 17, 2025. Range 800 allowed TF Ashland personnel to build proficiency in platoon-supported attacks between the ground combat element and the logistics combat element. TF Ashland is a flexible, forward-deployed crisis response force led by the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
