U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Regiment 37, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, conduct exercise Atlantic Dragon on Marine Corps Support Facility Blount Island and Camp Blanding Joint Training Center, Florida, April 1, 2022. Atlantic Dragon is a force generation exercise pushing CLR-37 as an arrival assembly operations group to provide tactical logistics support to III Marine Expeditionary Force. The exercise consists of an experimental maritime prepositioned force's offload tactics of military equipment that will support the field exercise training to increase combat readiness and efficiency. 3rd MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward-deployed combat unit that serves as III MEF’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility. Staff Sgt. Paul Delekto talks about oleoresin capsicum, commonly known as pepper spray or OC, and its effects on Marines assigned to the security augment force on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, March 6, 2015. The Marines trained through an endurance course while ecposed to the spray in order to better understand the non-lethal weapon's effects on them and potential suspects it may be used on. For the Kids: Highlanders host Bring Your Kids to Work Day
1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion hosts a Bring Your Kids to Work Day for the children of the battalion’s Marines and sailors at Camp Las Flores here, Aug. 9, 2013. Highlanders, the battalion’s nickname, allowed the children to tour light armored vehicles, shoot weapons at the battalion's Indoor Simulated Marksmanship Trainer and participate in field games.
