U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Regiment 37, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, and Sailors with Naval Support Element, execute joint maritime prepositioning offload experimental training during exercise Resolute Dragon 22 on the United States Naval Ship Dahl (T-AKR 312) at Kushiro Port, on Oct. 2, 2022. Resolute Dragon 22 is an annual exercise designed to strengthen the defensive capabilities of the U.S.-Japan alliance by exercising integrated command and control, targeting, combined arms, and maneuver across multiple domains. 3rd MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward-deployed combat unit that serves as III Marine Expeditionary Force’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
