Ens William Finnegan Interment Ceremony - Video Story
Video story of a Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency interment ceremony for U.S. Navy Ensign William Michael Finnegan, held at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Hawaii, Sept. 7, 2023. Finnegan was a Michigan native who was killed in action while aboard the USS Oklahoma during World War II. U.S. Navy Lt. Anthony Striffler, Navy Region Hawaii chaplain, spoke during the ceremony. Finnegan was accounted for on Dec. 21, 2015.

DPAA Conducts Recovery Mission in Italy - Video Story
Video Story from a Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) recovery mission in Italy. This recovery mission occurred during the 80th anniversary of Operation Husky, a large-scale invasion led by the Allied Powers during World War II. The goal of the mission was to recover potential osseous material and evidence of missing service members, of which there are approximately 72,000 unaccounted for from World War II.

Russell fought in the Battle of Guadalcanal during WWII, and turned 20 years old while fighting on the island. U.S. Marine Corps Sgt.Maj. Dennis M. Bradley, 3rd Marine Division sergeant major, talks about the caliber of Marines that have served in 3rd Marine Division. In observance of Vietnam Veterans Day he speaks about Gen. Lewis Walt, a former commander of 3rd Marine Division. Gen. Walt received a Silver Star while serving with the First Raider Battalion in Tulagi, was awarded two Navy Crosses during WWII, commanded III Marine Amphibious Force and served as the first four star General as Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Bill Hook | 70 Years After the Battle
Cpl. William Hook, who was the driver for the 3rd Amphibious Corps' leadership, first stepped foot on Okinawa on Easter Sunday, 1945. After more than 70 years, Hook returned to Okinawa.
