Marines of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit participated in numerous multilateral trainings and operations during the 23.2 patrol, including exercises Talisman Sabre 23 and Super Shield 23, along with foreign humanitarian aide operations in Bougainville. These events strengthen bonds with allies and partners and ensure a free and open Indo-Pacific.
