Cobra Gold 24: Amphibious Assault
Marines from the United States, Kingdom of Thailand, and Republic of Korea combined to conduct an amphibious assault at Hat Yao Beach, Rayong province, Kingdom of Thailand, March 1, 2024. This year will be the 43rd iteration of the Cobra Gold series of exercises, which emphasizes coordination on readiness, civic action, humanitarian assistance, and disaster relief. Students, Transition Training Unit complete test with ACV
U.S. Marines with the Amphibious Combat Vehicle Transition Training Unit complete a series of tests as part of a new curriculum being developed by the TTU at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, June 12-21, 2023. Marines with 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit participate in a historical battle site tour in Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 19, 2019. Marines toured Kakazu Ridge, Camp Kinser Battle of Okinawa Historical Display, Former Japanese Navy Underground Headquarters , and Okinawa Peace Memorial Park to learn about the Marine Corps’ actions in Okinawa during World War II, with the tour supported by the Marine Corps Association & Foundation. The battlefield study was part of MCA&F’s Commanders’ Forum Program which provides battlefield studies and guest speakers free of charge, to help Marines grow as tactical decision makers and leaders. Tiger Strike 2019: From the Beach to the Jungle
