MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP S. D. BUTLER, Okinawa, Japan -- III Marine Expeditionary Force, alongside the Japan Self-Defense Force and U.S. Joint Force, will participate in Exercise Resolute Dragon 24 in Japan from July 28 – August 7, 2024.
Approximately 3,000 U.S. Marines and sailors from III MEF will train alongside their counterparts from the Western Army, various units from the Japan Self-Defense Force, and the U.S. Joint Force, to rehearse and strengthen their multi-domain maneuver capabilities and combined arms integration.
The annual exercise, now in its fourth iteration, will take place across multiple training areas in Japan to include Chugoku, Kyushu, and Okinawa prefecture, demonstrating our ability to respond to crisis across the Indo-Pacific.

米海兵隊基地キャンプ・ バトラー（沖縄県） - 第三海兵遠征軍は、自衛隊および米統
合軍とともに、2024 年 7 月 28 日から 8 月 7 日まで日本で行われるレゾリュート・ド ラゴン 24 に参加します。
第三海兵遠征軍の約 3,000 人の海兵隊員が、西部方面隊、自衛隊の各部隊、米統合軍の
部隊とともに訓練を行い、マルチドメイン機動能力と統合兵器の演習と強化を行いま
す。
今回で 4 回目となる毎年恒例のこの訓練は、中国地方、九州、沖縄を含む日本の複数
の訓練地域で実施され、インド太平洋全域の危機に対応する能力を実証します。
