Brig. Gen. Paul. J. Kennedy addresses members of the Philippine and U.S. Marines Corps during the opening ceremony of Amphibious Landing Exercise 2014 at Naval Station Leovigildo Gantioqui, San Antonio, Zambales, Republic of the Philippines, Sept. 18. The recurrence of PHIBLEX, now in its 30th year, demonstrates the U.S. and Republic of the Philippines' commitment to mutual security and their long-time partnership. Kennedy is the commanding general of 3d Marine Expeditionary Brigade.
