A combat engineer with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, dismantles a concrete awning at Erdmiin Oyun High School in the Nalaikh district of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, July 20. Marine combat engineers are working alongside counterparts with the Washington Army National Guard and Mongolian Armed Forces to complete a large-scale renovation of the school as part of Exercise Khaan Quest 2013, a regularly scheduled, multinational exercise co-sponsored this year by U.S. Marine Corps Forces Pacific, and hosted annually by the MAF.
