BAN CHAN KREM - U.S. Marine Capt. T. Grayson Ernst, left, and Royal Thai Marine Lt. Cmdr. Telone Tutason give each other an international sign of approval Feb. 14 near the base camp of Combat Assault Battalion in Ban Chan Krem, Kingdom of Thailand. The camp is dubbed “Camp Ivory” on account of recently sighted elephants in the area. Thai and U.S. Marines are conducting field training exercises from Feb. 11 to 22 for exercise Cobra Gold 2013, which is a multinational exercise that promotes regional prosperity, security and cooperation among partner militaries. Tutason is the commandant of Camp BCK, and Ernst is a combat engineer officer and current operations director for CAB, 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
