Prior to beginning any course of fire, Marines fire 10 rounds in increments of three, three and four to determine their battle sight zero. After firing a tight group of shots, Marines adjust the sights of their rifles to hit the center of the target to ensure accuracy during firing. Marines with U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific, conducted Table 3 Intermediate Combat Rifle Marksmanship Training with the M4 Carbine assault rifle May 5 here.
