Adam Donahue, rushed to the aid of a motorist trapped inside a cargo truck June 7 after witnessing the fully-loaded truck take a turn too fast, roll-over and skid off the road near Chinhae, South Korea. The Marines from the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Korea Aviation Ordinance Detachment cut the seatbelt to free the trapped driver, moved him to safety and performed first aid to treat profuse bleeding and other injuries. - (From left) U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Oziel Esquivel, data supervisor, Headquarters Platoon, Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, Marine Rotational Force - Darwin, during a Corporals Course physical training session, here, June 18. The course provides corporals with the education and skills necessary to lead Marines. Medical personnel from Japan, Singapore and the U.S. lock hands after participating in a relay race during a sports field meet at Berakas Army Garrison Camp, Brunei Darussalam June 14. The competition took place as part of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Defence Ministers Meeting (ADMM) - Plus ASEAN Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief and Military Medicine Exercise (AHMX). More than 1,800 multinational personnel from 18 Asia-Pacific nations are participating in the ASEAN exercise, which provides a platform for regional partner nations to address shared security challenges, strengthen defense cooperation, enhance interoperability and promote stability in the region. ASEAN is comprised of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
