Master Chief Stuckey enlisted in the Navy in July 1989 and attended Recruit Training Command, Orlando, Florida.  Following completion of recruit training he reported to Religious Program Specialist "A" School in Meridian, MS with a follow-on school to Marine Corps Training School (MCT)/School of Infantry (SOI) in Camp LeJeune, NC .

His duty assignments include 1st Battalion, 2nd Marines, Camp LeJeune, NC;  Marine Corps Recruit Training Depot/Eastern Recruiting Region, Parris Island, SC; USS PONCE (LPD-15); USS SAIPAN (LHA-2); Religious Program Specialist "C" School, Meridian, MS; Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, MD; Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Technical Center, Indian Head, MD; USS ENTERPRISE (CVN-65); Field Medical Service School,  Camp LeJeune, NC;  3rd Marine Division, Okinawa, Japan;  Basic Instructor Duty School, Norfolk, VA; Officer Training Command, Newport, Rhode Island; Naval  Chaplain School, Newport, Rhode Island; Curriculum Development School, Norfolk, VA; 2nd Marine Logistics Group, Camp LeJeune, NC; 2nd Force Service Support Group (Forward), Camp TQ, Iraq; Combat Logistics Regiment 27, Camp LeJeune, NC; Commander, Marine Forces Pacific, Honolulu, HI.; and USS HOPPER (DDG 70).

Master Chief Stuckey assumed his current duties as the Marine Forces Pacific Command Master Chief in November 2014.

Master Chief Stuckey was selected to the Command Master Chief Program in 2008 and is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 115), Command Master Chief/Chief of Board (Class 62) and Keystone Course (Class 12-2).  He has qualified as an Enlisted Information Dominance Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist, and Enlisted Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist.  Master Chief Stuckey is certified as a Master Training Specialist and Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt.

His personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (five awards), and numerous campaign medals and ribbons.
