Staff Sgt. James W. Strube, a trumpeter with the U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific, Band, performs at Kapiolani Park May 22 during Military Appreciation Day. The annual event, sponsored by USO Hawaii and the city and county of Honolulu, featured musical performances, free admission, food and drinks at the Honolulu Zoo and a parade.
