U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin pour dirt in a display while refurbishing and repairing animal habitat displays at the Territory Wildlife Park, Northern Territory, Australia Sept. 29. The Marines have been volunteering at this site since the beginning of their six-month rotation in Darwin, Australia as a part of engagement with the local community. Beyond purely military training, Marines’ involvement in community engagements in the Northern Territory shows their appreciation for Australia’s hospitality.
