Third Marine Regiment Marines carry a casket holding the remains of one of 36 Marines, July 26, 2015 during a dignified transfer ceremony at Hangar 35 aboard Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The remains of 36 Marines who fought and died during the Battle of Tarawa in World War II were discovered and returned to the U.S. for proper identification and final burial.
