U.S. MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP H.M. SMITH, Hawaii -- Experience and aggression helped MARFORPAC’s Aches & Pains volleyball team defeat MARFORPAC G-6 in a best-out-of-three intramural volleyball match at the base gym here, April 26.

Aches & Pains smoked G6 21-12 in the first match, and scorched them 21-4 in the second to seize victory. It was complete domination, with a few intense vollies here and there that kept the pace up.

“We won, but we’ll definitely feel the price of victory in the morning,” said Master Sgt. Robert O’Toole, Aches & Pains teammate.

This was both teams season opener in the Camp H.M. Smith league. There will be seven teams competing in all from Camp H.M. Smith.

All regular season games will be played at 11 a.m. and noon, Tuesdays and Thursdays at the base gym here.
