LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines - Albay Governor Joey Salceda, right, presents a Legazpi City passport to Australian Army Maj. Nathan Flindt May 2 following a meeting in Legazpi, Albay province, Philippines. The meeting was one of several between members of the local community, Armed Forces of the Philippines, U.S. and Australian armed forces to discuss the humanitarian civic assistance programs taking place across Albay as a part of Exercise Balikatan. This year marks the 30th iteration of Balikatan, an annual bilateral training exercise between the Philippines and U.S. that increases interoperability and strengthens the longstanding partnership of the two allies. Flindt is assigned to 2nd General Health Battalion.
